From Academy to Elite: CCS Athletes Take on Gippsland Power

Celebrating an incredible achievement for our CCS athletes who have earned their place in the Gippsland Power squads for the upcoming season. After a huge selection process beginning in early November, featuring hundreds of hopeful players, countless kilometres travelled, and a massive commitment from families, these students have truly earned their spot.

Every selected athlete is part of the CCS Athlete Performance Academy, where they’ll continue to be supported academically, physically, and mentally as they prepare for high‑level competition and manage the demands of a heavy training and playing schedule.

The season is fast approaching, with:

  • U18 Boys kicking off on March 22nd
  • U18 Girls beginning on April 12th
  • U16 Girls already taking the field for their first match last weekend with our very own Taylah Mizzi being named best on ground.

We’re incredibly proud of each student representing CCS at this elite level and can’t wait to follow their journey throughout the season.
