Father James Wall Bursary Leadership Achievement Award

Each year, seven students across Australia are selected to receive the Father James Wall Bursary Achievement Award. The recipients each receive a financial contribution from the Catholic Development Fun (CDF) to assist with school fees and other expenses incurred while undertaking studies in Years 11 and 12.

This year, the winner of this accolade in the Diocese of Sale is Catholic College Sale Year 11 student Hannah Walsh.

Hannah has demonstrated high levels of participation within her parish and her school community. While studying at Catholic College Sale, she has acted as school captain, been a member of the Liturgical and Show choirs, read multiple prayers of the faithful, sang solos, and was the 2018 captain of the middle school Performing Arts Cabinet.
