Marist Cricket Carnival

Catholic College Sale hosted the 46th annual Australasian Marist Cricket Carnival from the 4th to the 11th of December. Teams from Marist schools across Australia, and one from New Zealand competed in the week-long Carnival against the host school with Notre Dame Shepparton being the eventual winners.

The College received great support from a number of Sale-Maffra cricket clubs with the provision of turf wickets, club facilities and host families to billet the 65 visiting players.

The Catholic College Sale team was coached by Mr Anthony Robbins and assisted by Mr Jim Sutton. The team was: Brayden Glenn, Jonty McGuiness, Nathan Whitford, Will Mayne, Noah Hurley, Tom Morrison, Ethan Albrecht, Zac Russell, Joseph Ziino, Sam Smith, Archer McGuiness, Mason Hawkins and Kelly Griffiths. The team featured players from various year levels and a number of Sale-Maffra clubs. Many of the team are fortunate enough to have senior and inter-league experience.
