SSV Gippsland Regional Runners Up – Year 8 Boys Football

The Catholic College Sale Year 8 Boys Football team has come narrowly short of progression to State Finals, after a determined effort at the SSV Gippsland Regional AFL competition.

Played at Traralgon West Sports Complex on Wednesday May 26th, the side registered strong wins against Mary Mackillop Leongatha and Bairnsdale Secondary College.

However, a first game defeat at the hands of rivals Marist-Sion Warragul by 10-points, meant we fell just short of moving on.

The Boys performed admirably in the round-robin competition, especially in the face of tricky winds and weather conditions.
